Lil-Ry's White Dobermans

White and white-factored Dobermans bred to be excellent pets and guardians of your family

Where are you located?
We are located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia in Harpers Ferry, WV. Our puppies and dogs get shipped out of Dulles airport in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC or BWI airport out of Baltimore, MD. To see how far you are from us, use the directions tool below:

What is Z-factored?
If a dog is "Z-factored" their registration number will start with a "Z". This is done in order to trace which dobermans have white dogs in their background. If the white ancestor is more than a few generations back (a great-grandparent for instance), the dog probably no longer carries the white gene. The only way to be sure that a puppy carries the white gene is if the puppy himself is white, has a white parent or has produced white puppies.

Do you test your dogs for Vwd, etc?
No, we do not currently test our dogs and the price of our puppies reflect this.
The majority of Dobermans listed for sale are not tested. Tested dogs generally cost well over $1000. Our puppies do, however, come with a one-year health guarantee. We will, however, be getting OFA, BAER, CERF and Vwd tests completed in the very near future.

Are White Dobermans Defective?
Obviously, myself and other white Doberman owners do not believe that they are! The fact is, a poorly bred Doberman is a poorly bred Doberman, no matter what color it is! Most of the problems being blamed on the white color are problems which exist in EVERY color of Doberman, white or not. Our white Dobes are NOT near sighted, they recognize us from VERY far away and they play and lay in the sun even when shade is available. They have no skin problems (such as those common in the dilute colors, such as blue and fawn) and are loving with our family and protective of our home.

Do you offer ear cropping?

We may offer ear cropping at an additional cost for future litters, however, since improper aftercare of ears can cause a very poor end result, we will strongly suggest follow up care instruction by a local veterinarian of the owner's choice.

We are very happy with our dogs and if you choose to own one, we believe you will too!
REMEMBER - IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE!
